Watercolor postcards as Christmas and Birthday presents.

The "Light Ones" are those without boundaries; they need to use weights to keep their minds into the real world. Weights such as the love for the others, the dreams and most of all the desires.

The "Post Office" is the same everywhere.

The "Witch of Hearts and the Footprints Eaters" have no personality so they need to eat the footprints of the others in order to survive.

In "The Pinwheel's Garden" you can hear the music made by the pinwheel flowers every time the wind blows.

The "Door keepers" need to travel. But never alone.

"Mr. Tailor" is a bit deaf, so he binds many little bells on his net to find it, after a long day work.

"Mr. Scarecrow" is the best musician of the county. He plays a "mandolino" made of corn cobs and his fond audiences mainly consists of crows.

This time I left before because I was still a bit sick, but I tried the method of finding the shapes before the actual drawings, and I think it works!

1) find the line of action
2) find the shape
3) be aware of the silhouette

Some shape studies as suggested by Alex Woo during Gesture Drawing class thanks to Schoolism.

I think this can be a very fun game to play this Christmas with my nieces. One person keep a pose for 1 minutes, the others depict the main shape in 30 sec with a marker and for the 30 sec left they have to finish the drawing with a pen :) (maybe as they are far young we can have longer poses).

The Theater

So Light World is my imaginary world. 
Here the main characters are the different ones.
Here they have their own voice without judgment. 
Here even the boundaries are different.

I'm having fun creating this and my purpose is to entertain you. So... hope you enjoy it!

The Theater is open from autumn to spring. Rumours say it Mr. Maestro will attend in winter.
