Sara and the Wizard

These are the first scenes of "Sara and the Wizard". It is a story about the relationship between the student and the teacher and how each continues to learn throughout their life. Each at their own pace and with different approaches.

"But I want to watch TV!"

"I'm a mermaid!"

"Happy Birthday princess!"

"No fair!"

"I was winning!"

Killiney

Amazing atmosphere in Killiney (Ireland).

I painted these two from one of my picture as reference. Gouache on paper.

The Autumnal Sisters

Another chapter of my comic "So Light World": The Autumnal Sister.

Keep building my imaginary world.

These are Lisa, the second and wiser of the Autumnal Sisters and Ludo. Ludo likes to tell jokes to her neighbors.

Lara is the eldest and wilder.

Lizzy is the savage guardian of the East Swamp. Bad, bad, bad temper.

Jenni is not going to school today. Nor tomorrow. Nobody will ever tell her what to do again.

Memories of early spring

Short story in watercolor and colored pencils.

I wonder what are you doing now...

... still hanging out with the old friends?

Do you remember the long afternoons at the park?

The Addams Family "Grandmama"

The Addams Family Musical Comedy is hilarious! My favourite part is the one about Grandma: of whom is she the mother???.
Neither Gomez nor Morticia seem to know the answer.

Bord Gàis Energy Theatre, Dublin

"Because of your mama.
Mine? Yours!
.....
for real
isn't she yours?

The eager whale

These are the first ideas for an illustration. I should finalize it using Photoshop in order to add contrast between the dark sea and the bright fishes.
I get inspired by the artist Khoa Le in "Polare, l'orso solitario" (nuinui edition) a wonderful book that I found in a small library in Milan.

what's that for?
Just to see how fast you can run

INSPIRATION

"It has been a torture.
Trapped in this single form
cut off from the sea"
From "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End".

I remember the strong feeling for her: Calypso, the sea goddess
and her words "trapped in this single form".
Inspiration has no boundaries, not a single form, like water, it always changes.

coherence is an overrated virtue

every time I have an idea, it takes the form of a story, so I represent it thanks to the story telling. An image is not enough not because it is moving: I am the one moving because of my unstoppable curiosity.

"Children of Dune"

"Loki"

"Serpi dall'Olimpo"
